The kinds of small businesses JPNDC serves (primarily those that rely on face-to-face interaction, as well as construction) have truly felt the brunt of the pandemic.

JPNDC technical assistance has helped 182 small businesses – 94% of clients – survive through accessing emergency resources and adapting their business practices.

Servicios para Prosperidad Familiar

Our staff provides services in person as well as remotely. Please make an appointment if you wish to see staff in person.

We are helping families affected by the economic and health crises to access the resources that will help them survive and recover. We are also providing direct aid.

We continue providing assistance around job search, family finances, and credit building.

Servicios para Educación Temprana

Our Family Childcare system reopened July 1, 2020, and all 45 home-based programs are open. All our educators have implemented new safety measures to meet state standards.

Affordable Housing Development

Construction is underway at two projects: 125 Amory Street y, 25 Amory Street.

The JPNDC Pitts Apartments y, Call Carolina projects are completed!

Planning is underway  for three projects: 3371 Washington Street  and the Mildred Hailey Apartments in JP, and Cheney Street in Grove Hall.

La Cervecería

Brewery businesses are open. The Haven at The Brewery, a partnership between The Haven and Bella Luna, plans to open in December!
