JPNDC, with partners The Community Builders and Urban Edge, have been designated by the Boston Housing Authority to redevelop this site, preserving and renovating the 199 apartments for their current residents and creating new housing on the site, 40% of which will be affordable.

Recently Completed

JPNDC Pitts Apartments

201 units of rental family housing in 21 buildings in the Grove Hall, Dudley Square and Fort Hill sections of Dorchester and Roxbury. Most buildings were constructed prior to 1930 and some have historical significance.

JPNDC worked with the former owner, Lorenzo Pitts Inc., to plan critically needed repairs for all units and ensure permanent affordability for 150 subsidized units that were at high risk of conversion to market-rate. In June 2018 JPNDC became the new owner.

Call Carolina

Eight affordable homes for first-time buyers on these long-vacant lots on Call St. and Carolina Ave.

Cheney & Schuyler Streets

59 affordable, service-enriched senior units including an apartment for a live-in responder, plus nine condominiums for first-time homebuyers in separate buildings. The campus style design will include a community room and a landscaped courtyard linking all buildings. Learn more here.
