About Joanne Morales

Title: Client Services Navigator

Major areas of responsibility: When people come to JPNDC, I make sure they’re connected to the services that meet their needs and interests. If they come in for child care but they say they need a new job, for example, I connect them to our Career Coach as well as to Family Child Care. I also help people who are in crisis to access the resources that will help stabilize their family’s situation.

Relevant background: I most recently worked in a school for women where they are offered ESOL, GED, computer classes, among other programs. My main responsibility was to make the first evaluation of these women and know more about the future that they wanted to achieve in this country.

Year started at JPNDC: 2018

  • What inspires me: Helping people who are on the same path I took when I decided to come to this country, letting them know that although it is a difficult road, we can improve our lives with effort and dedication.

  • What I like: Knowing that I can contribute in a positive way to improve the lives of others through my work.
