Major areas of responsibility: I manage the Organizing, Fundraising/Communications Team, and the Micro and Small Business teams, working to maximize opportunity and impact within our organization and for the communities we serve.

Relevant background: I have a Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy & Law with a contextual certificate in Social Justice, Human Rights, and Health Equity as well as a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Public Policy. Over the last seven years I have worked in local government and nonprofits, where I managed federal grants, led coalitions and advisory boards, trained housing organizers, and partnered with elected officials, funders, and community members, all with the goal of translating strategy into measurable, tangible impact.

  • What inspires me: I am constantly working to get community members involved in the work I do through civic engagement, education, and resource sharing. Engaging people around a shared vision is what motivates me to try even harder to achieve equity and justice for all.
  • What I like: Cooking new dishes, women’s and men’s basketball, the beach, reading, museums, and spending time with family and friends.
