Major areas of responsibility: Overseeing team of Small Business Technical Assistance Managers and providers responsible for delivering sound technical assistance for (1) business foundation involving financial literacy, business entity filing, business plan development (vision statement, staffing, procurement, accounting, marketing/networking, client services, and stabilization), MWBE certification; and (2) business growth involving tailoring businesses to the market, strategic growth planning, access to capital, loan packages, post-loan, and launch support and site acquisition/leasing. Providing on-the-ground training and coaching to existing business owners. Developing and presenting workshops and networking events focused on topics of interest to the MSB community.

Relevant background: I am an experienced legal professional (JD, 2002) and business manager/consultant with a demonstrated history of providing general business management oversight, project management and analysis for all kinds of organizations. In-depth knowledge and experience in Corporations law including, but not limited to, entity creation (For Profit and Nonprofit, C-Corp, S-Corp or LLC and Domestic and Foreign incorporation for all states), contract negotiation and drafting and Trademarking.
