WHY ECONOMIC PROSPERITY SERVICES?

Because the right tools can help people overcome barriers.

  • While White households in the Boston area have a median net worth of $247,500, African-Americans have median net worth of $8. Among Dominicans, it’s $0.

  • Systemic causes include discrimination, redlining, predatory lending, stagnant wages, unaffordable post-secondary education, and housing costs that are among the highest in the country.

  • On their own, people may find these challenges overwhelming. Access to tools, resources, strategies and networks can make an enormous difference.
